Welcome to my second blog post, it will mostly be welding materials I've created with my dad and some welding projects of my own. I started welding since Summer of 2024 and continue to enjoy it. I decided why not post them on a blog.

This is my first welding project of a carbon mild steel table. The school had small welding tables. They were okay to work with but I wanted my own table for myself to practice on. I did not have a table before and asked my dad if was okay to make our own table. He said sure. He took the time to get the metal I need for a table. We assembled the metal together by using the Mig welding spool gun to tack them in place and make beads to make sure the table legs will not come off.  After welding, we used a 7 inch grinder and then used a Dye Grinder for smaller places. It took us 3 to 4 weeks to finish the table. It doesn't have foldable legs to be put away when I'm not welding in the garage. It does have adjustable legs to go up or down.

We drilled holes for the half C clamp to be put in place if needed for metal to clamp on for stick, mig or Tig welding. For drilling holes, we used a Milwaukee drill device with different types of drilling sharp holes big and small and used oil to prevent the tip from dulling. After cleaning the metal, it was finished. I started using the table for welding in my spare time to practice.

This is the first backyard deck my mom want us to build before the deck is about to built.
The second photo is welding the guard rail.
We need two guard rails to fit the backyard deck to make it stand out and beautiful.
Vertical hand rail and put the guard rail together along with the balusters in place.
My dad helping along with the guard rails after I did all the welding with the spool gun. I also helped weld the caps for the guard rail as a nice finish for the backyard deck.

This is the before backyard deck with wood being covered in plastic wood and the both of us put the guard rails after the wood is finished put in place.
The photo below is the backyard deck being built away to make it a nice finished.
The second half of the deck being finished.

The completely finished deck and we put both the vertical hand rails along with the guard rails on both ends of the lemon tree and the camper.
